GROW A CABBAGE

Could you grow a cabbage in your garden or allotment?

We've been handing out packets of cabbage seeds across Torbay as part of our Cabbage Rebellion. If you'd like to join the rebellion and grow some cabbages of your own then follow the instructions below.

Step 1
Sow your seeds thinly into a finely rakes seedbed at a depth of 13mm (1/2”)

Step 2
Transplant with a dibber or trowel when large enough to handle allowing approximately 45cm (18”) between plants each way.

Step 3
Share images of your cabbages on social media and tag Doorstep Arts. #cabbagerebellion
